Privacy policy
This explains what data I collect on produktywnyprojektant.com, why, and what rights you have. In force from 3 October 2026. This is a translation of the Polish version; if there is any difference, the Polish version prevails.
1. Who is the data controller
The controller of personal data is Paweł Kińczyk, who runs the blog and YouTube channel “Produktywny Projektant” at produktywnyprojektant.com. For matters related to personal data, write to produktywnyprojektant@gmail.com.
2. What data I process and why
The data involved depends on how you use the site:
- A message to me. When you write through the form or directly by email, I process your email address, name and the content of the message in order to reply. The form on the site opens your email program, so the content of the message is not stored on the site's server.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, I process your email address in order to send you news from the blog and the channel. Subscribing requires confirming your address, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
- Comments. You can leave a comment under blog posts. I then process your name or nickname, email address, the content of the comment and your IP address (to protect against spam). If you tick the relevant box, your name, email and website address are stored in a cookie so you don't have to type them again next time.
- Technical data. The server keeps standard logs (IP address, browser, page visited, time), which serves security and the proper functioning of the site.
- Statistics and search results. I use Google tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console) to know which content is read and how the site performs in search.
- Advertising. Google AdSense ads may be shown on the site, and they may use cookies and advertising identifiers.
3. Legal bases
I process data on the basis of: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), e.g. for the newsletter, statistics and cookie-based advertising; the need to take steps at your request, e.g. replying to a message (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); my legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and protected from abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. How long I keep data
- I keep correspondence until the matter is closed, and then for the period needed to defend against possible claims.
- I keep the newsletter email address until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.
- Comments are kept for as long as they are visible on the site, unless you ask for them to be removed.
- Data from statistics and advertising tools is kept according to the settings of those tools.
5. Who I share data with
Data may go to entities that provide me with technical services: the hosting provider (LH.pl), Google (statistics, search results, advertising, YouTube content) and Mailchimp (Intuit Inc., USA), the provider of the newsletter tool. Google and Mailchimp may also process data outside the European Economic Area, on the basis of the mechanisms provided for in the GDPR. I do not sell data or pass it to other parties for marketing purposes.
6. Cookies
The site uses cookies and similar technologies. Necessary cookies keep the site working and secure. I use analytics and advertising cookies only if you consent in the consent window. You can withdraw consent at any time and delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
7. External content and services
- YouTube. The site shows thumbnails of the latest videos from my channel. Loading them connects your browser to YouTube (Google) servers.
- Udemy and referral links. Links to my courses on Udemy contain a referral code. After you click, Udemy may set its own cookies, and I may receive a commission on a purchase, which does not change the price you pay. Purchases are made on the Udemy site under its terms and privacy policy.
- Social media. Links to YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook and GitHub lead to services that have their own privacy policies.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. If I process data on the basis of consent, you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before. To use these rights, write to produktywnyprojektant@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
9. Changes to this policy
I may update the policy, for example when the tools used on the site change. The current version is always available on this page.
